Robust & Sustainable Improvement

When analysing the maturity and sustainability of initiatives there are two questions we ask;

  • At what level of maturity are the initiatives you are responsible for delivering?
  • What are the actions required to get the initiative to the next level?

If an initiative is in the red section then collaboration in reviewing today’s “as is” and agreeing tomorrow’s “to be” together is key to progressing the maturity of the initiative.

If the initiative is in the amber section them setting clear expectations, measuring, and managing performance will help drive ownership.

When the initiative is in its mature stages cultural change is SLOW, this is because employees will not revert to their old ways of working and will be suggesting new ways of working.

If an initiative is its most mature stage then it will also be at its most sustainable. If an initiative is not mature it will disappear, employees will revert and initiative

What Our Clients Say

  • We started working with Alex and his team over a year ago. Thanks to the easy process and supportive team we saved over 70% on our recruitment spend in one year. They have saved us thousands in advertising and the made our processes much smoother, with a very easy to use recruitment portal. I would definitely recommend getting in touch with Alex if you are looking for an easy, cost effective recruitment process!

    Nicola Gorman
    HR & Recruitment Co-ordinator

  • Tim led an efficiency improvement project team with the aim of improving our business processes and helping increase our North Sea production volumes. This involved coaching offshore and being responsible for supporting the performance improvements on North Cormorant (our largest manned platform). During the project stage the team quickly got to grips with identifying our potential improvement areas and helped develop the improvement project plan for roll out with our management team. Building good relationships whilst both on and offshore with the teams, the input was invaluable. Together we created a fresh outlook on alternative ways of working and how to use our business data to drive improvement actions. Well-liked and respected I would not hesitate to recommend Tim and his team’s services.

    John Hogg
    Asset Manager (Harding Area)

  • Alex is an outstanding procurement professional. He is meticulous and methodical in his approach and this made him very successful in the projects that he managed in our time working together. Through his ambition and drive, Alex was promoted during our time together and proceeded to manage large projects and categories.

    David Skinner
Head of Corporate Services & Solutions at Crown Commercial Service

  • Alex has worked for me on a number of procurement projects on a recent Business Optimisation Programme covering the HR, Professional Services, Training and IT categories. He has worked diligently to deliver significant savings for the client, improving processes and providing stakeholders with insightful data and options to make high quality business decisions.

  • Tim was instrumental in helping drive the business forward from a company that was at that time a niche market player with 25 employees mainly dealing with commercial claims and temporary humidity control type jobs. Fresh vision and drive paid dividends in starting a path that saw massive organisational growth within the company’s UK Restoration Division.I thank Tim as he was responsible for my personal growth and development from technician to team manager and then Area Manager, culminating in the extent of knowledge and experience gained over the years. Tim is a respected and solid man manager who I would reccommend to any organisation looking to implement change in their operation at either back office or service delivery ends.

    Steve Cranston
    Regional Manager

  • Tim led the manufacturing excellence project that impacted and improved every part of our operation including: customer services, planning, warehousing, logistics, production, laboratory and the whole of our supervisory and management team. The team helped us design, develop and implement new tools and methodology that have improved our performance by: increasing customer service levels, reducing inventory levels and increasing productivity to levels that we could not have achieved on our own. Tim is talented and trusted , and has helped us make a difficult but important step change in our performance and the way that we now operate and manage the site.

    Pascal Cosneau
    Site Director

  • Tim led the manufacturing excellence project with the aim of improving our UK manufacturing performance, lowering our cost per kg and supporting the expansion of the site to more than double its production output. He and the team quickly got to grips with implementing quick wins and developing the area plans for a comprehensive roll out with our site and shift management teams.  There is no doubt that without the support of Tim and the team we could not have achieved the improvements in manufacturing and engineering performance that we have realised in the last 12 months.

    Paul Else
    Site Director

  • Tim joined as part of an efficiency improvement project team with the aim of improving our business processes and helping increase our North Sea production volumes. Initially Tim joined as an offshore coach responsible for supporting the performance improvements on North Cormorant (our largest manned platform. Tim was then appointed for the rollout project where he quickly got to grips with identifying potential improvement areas and helped develop the improvement project plan for roll out with our management team. Tim brought a fresh outlook on alternative ways of working and how to use our business data to drive improvement actions. Well-liked and respected I would not hesitate to recommend his services to a potential client.

  • I worked with Tom on an Activity Based Cost Study. I found him to be easy to work with, was able to work without supervision and took the lead with many actions. He was able to work successfully with varying levels of staff, ensuring the project was completed to time.
